We are seeking a Transport Manager to lead our logistics operations. You’ll ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient movement of goods, from single parcels to full freight loads, while upholding our standards of customer satisfaction.
Oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations: courier, haulage, and freight transport.
Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize disruption.
Manage and optimise scheduling, routing, and use of transport assets.
Ensure compliance with transport and safety regulations, including crew licensing, equipment certification, and vehicle insurance.
Maintain high standards for customer communication and satisfaction; handle complaints respectfully and promptly.
Collaborate with teams and partners, including high-profile clients like Amazon, to ensure precise and reliable delivery.
Liaise with the transport team and crews to ensure availability of vehicles and necessary supplies.
Supervise daily staff rotas and activities.
Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in delivery quality and efficiency.
Experienced Transport Manager / Logistics Coordinator within courier, haulage, and freight sectors.
Strong knowledge of regulatory, safety, and compliance frameworks.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff for efficient operations.
Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
Skilled in planning, problem-solving, and operational oversight.
Extensive practical, hands-on experience in logistics and transport management.
Highly organised with strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
Experienced in data analysis to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
In-depth compliance expertise with current transport and safety regulations.
